Ecology is the central theme of Ms. Granbery's work, expressing the depth of our connection to the natural world. Using forms she finds in nature, she evolves her sculpture, combining, blending and abstracting until the finished piece is no longer specific to any one source, but equally evocative of many natural origins. Her goal is that the resulting forms strike a pleasurably familiar chord, while leaving room for our imaginations to play.
